Lungimea traseului ce urmeaz\u0103 a fi modernizat este de 2,7 kilometri, \u00eentre intersec\u0163ia Buc\u015finescu \u015fi Calea Chi\u015fin\u0103ului, lucr\u0103rile urm\u00e2nd s\u0103 includ\u0103 schimbarea \u015finei, modernizarea re\u0163elei de fir contact \u015fi reabilitarea podului de peste r\u00e2ul Bahlui. Municipalitatea a atribuit firmei Pod Proiect realizarea documenta\u0163iei tehnice ce va presupune efectuarea de studii geotehnice \u015fi topometrice, documenta\u0163ii tehnice \u015fi caiete de sarcini. Pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 documenta\u0163ia tehnic\u0103, va fi \u00eentocmit \u015fi un studiu de circula\u0163ie, care va studia caracterul fluxului de circula\u0163ie, elemente geometrice \u015fi num\u0103rul de benzi pe sens, intensitatea \u015fi compozi\u0163ia traficului, amplasarea trecerilor de pietoni, distan\u0163a \u00eentre intersec\u0163ii, reglementarea sta\u0163ion\u0103rii sau a parc\u0103rilor pe partea carosabil\u0103, viteza de circula\u0163ie, procentul de vehicule grele. \u201dPractic, \u00eenlocuirea c\u0103ii de rulare de pe Bulevardul Tudor Vladimirescu va face jonc\u0163iunea \u00eentre alte dou\u0103 mari proiecte de refacere a \u015finelor. Pe de o parte, se afl\u0103 segmentul Copou \u2013 Pia\u0163a Unirii \u2013 Cuza Vod\u0103 \u2013 Elena Doamna, finalizat \u00een luna august, iar pe de alt\u0103 parte va fi cel cuprins \u00eentre Bulevardul Nicolae Iorga \u2013 \u0162es\u0103tura \u2013 Calea Chi\u015fin\u0103ului \u2013 Metalurgie \u2013 Doi B\u0103ie\u0163i, demarat \u00een luna septembrie \u015fi care presupune \u00eenlocuirea a 9,9 kilometri de \u015fin\u0103 de tramvai. Pe viitor, municipalitatea inten\u0163ioneaz\u0103 s\u0103 modernizeze \u015fi linia de tramvai Cinci Drumuri, strada P\u0103durii \u015fi strada Nicori\u0163\u0103, dar \u015fi calea de rulare c\u0103tre Dancu. Toate aceste lucr\u0103ri fac parte din strategia municipalit\u0103\u0163ii de a crea un transport \u00een comun desf\u0103\u015furat \u00een condi\u0163ii de deplin\u0103 securitate \u015fi confort\u201d, a declarat viceprimarul Mihai Chirica. Ia\u015ful face parte din categoria ora\u015felor \u00een care tramvaiul reprezint\u0103 principalul mijloc de transport public, integr\u00e2ndu-se astfel \u00een tendin\u0163a european\u0103.
